Fukien tea repot

I just purchase a mature Fukien tea and it is in standard soil and a plastic gardening pot. I would like to repot it with bonsai mix and a nicer pot. Is it OK to do now in summer without trimming the roots ? Thanks !

Yes, it is possible but not advisable.
If I were you, I would wait for the Spring.
