So I got myself a pot of nursery stock from Walmart there were 6 small specimens which I’m trying to turn in to bonsai I live in New Jersey which is a few weeks in to spring I read that after a repotting u have to water is much more often and not to give it sunlight is that right? And if so should I keep it indoors for a week or two or just but it in a mostly shady area? (I’m new to bonsai this is my first experiment)

What species did you get?
I do not water plants more after repotting. I NEVER bring my plants in unless temps are expected to drop below -15, And my plants live in the same spot also after repot.
