Do I need to repot my elm.

I've had my Chinese elm now since September as I'm new to this just wanted some advice for when I should repot it I have some of the roots showing to I'm not sure if that's just a common thing ,any advice would be helpful.

come spring, I would repot. The pot looks a little small and there is very little substrate. Give it a slightly larger pot. Look nto substrate. The tree will do better.
