Hi all,
My name is Nick and I’m new here. I just got a bougainvillea and it has a huge root (see pics) that is is about 3” x 3” depth solidity the bottom. What should I do with this root when I repot? I like how it looks but is it taking away from the tree growth?
Also I got some substrate mix (see pic for contents),

do I need to mix dirt in with it?
