Hi, I'm LC, I live in SW Florida.
I received this as a gift for Mothers day.
I have been all over and haven't found the help I'm seeking. I tried to call the florist it was purchased from. They were no help.
So, the tag says it is 4 years old. Also says to repot every 4 years. I have no idea if it is in need of repotting.
I have watered every day as it appears dry and the instructions say to do so.
Each time I have lost soil off the top. Yesterday I soaked it from the bottom (first time it appears to be wet).
To me, it looks like the roots are at the top of the pot and showing more each time I water.
Do I repot?
I have read to repot in the spring but then to cut the roots back in the winter. I find this very confusing. I feel like someone gave me a baby. I am lost!

For watering I use a shower attachment to the watering can / hose and shower it. This way, the soil normally does not flush away.
If the plant is healthy and growing well, it should not need repotting.
When to repot.. I do not grow camelia, so I cannot be of help there.
