Hello I just got myself a new chinese elm it's in a tiny 15cm pot and it looks as if the roots are coming out the top of the soil, the soil isn't too good either, my question is do you think I should repot it or just wait till spring I just don't want it to die that's all any tips would be nice

No need to disturb the tree if you are in the northern hemisphere. Now is the time for growth. And put your tree outside for best health.

Place it outside, inside it will die, no doubt about it.
Learn to water it, keep it healthy and repot in the right moment of the year ( spring)
