Should I wait to repot?

Hello,
My 名媛直播 is about 2 years old and she is severely dehydrated after I went out of town about two weeks ago, I have been watering daily to help with rehydration, but nothing seems to be working. I took her(my plant) to a nursery today to talk to someone who knows what they are doing and the lady told me that I need to repot with the correct soil and a shallow pot, but I've done some research and for Fukien Tea trees it is best to repot in the spring. I am hoping someone could give me a little guidance on if I should wait or report immediately. I live in GA, so its pretty warm.
Thanks in advance,

repotting is not the solution. If it dried out, you need to hope and see whether the plant recovers. Repotting now can be the push to help it die.

I agree. Repotting is stressful and hence only done to trees in full health.

Thank you! I am glad I asked, I also bought Bonide insecticidal soap for the fuzz in the branches.

For me it's too late to do anything about it.

Yup.
Besides that, the "fuss" on the branches is probably the natural brown down around the buds.
