hi to all, i have 6 very healthy thriving bonsai indoors under grow lights. as i don't have room for a larger pot for my brush cherry can i just remove and prune back the roots and re-soil then return to original pot. the tree is 15/16 yrs old and at a height of 40cm not including the pot which is a 30cm pot.
?this would eventually apply to all my trees if possible. i do not have any outside space.
any advice or solutions greatly appreciated.
thanks
tom

That is excactly how most repottings of bonsai is done. If you transfer to a bigger pot every repotting it would cease to be a bonsai.
