My pomegranate was repotted in a bonsai pot about a month ago. Roots are showing above the soil - is this okay? Should I cut roots them?

If you are happy with the roots showing to that extent then leave them - personally I would be inclined to remove the uppermost thinner one for now, possibly the large root opposite when the tree is better established in its new pot, say 3 months or so?
