Pictures of my new babies :) Not what you expected? Volunteers from Chinese elms where I teach. I can see a forest in there somewhere! Time will tell. Remember it is not polite to call people's babies ugly! :cheer:

That's a good idea...I just collected them yesterday...I would like to make a forest planting out of them eventually, do you recommend separating them individually or keeping them together?

Both is possible. Planting them separately would be suitable to create a forest style (Yose-ue), keeping them together would be suitable for clump-style (Kabudachi).
It's going to take years to create that forest though but it's good to make photos. After some time you will not remember what they looked like today, and when comparing, it can be surprising to see how things have developed.

Sounds like I will have plenty of time to read up on the Kabudachi method since I know nothing at all about it.....that is what I was hoping to accomplish. Thanks for your post much appreciated!
