Hi can anybody tell me if i need to water my seeds during the propagation period? The soil looks really dry

The soil should never dry out. But just as bad would be to have the soil soaking wet. So you need to find the sweet spot, moist.

If I am sowing in a dry period, I often cover the soil with clingfilm, so the soild does not dry out as quickly. And for small quantities a small propagator does wonders.
