Hi Everyone?
Im hoping someone can answer my questions, what it is my Oak Tree 名媛直播 the leafs over the Summer months have gone from a lovely green to a horrible greenie White colour and become dry in texture.
?Is the tree suffering in some way and how can I rectify this for next spring please. ?I live in the UK and I’ve watered the plants each night during the hot warm days we have had this year. ?
Is it something I’ve done wrong as I’m new to bonsai and it’s my first year. ?I’m using normal potting soil with small stones added for good drainage. ?
Can someone please put me in the right direction or has anyone else had the same kind of issues with their own trees. ?I’m hoping the picture will help diagnose the problem.
Many Thanks
Ian

Pics would be useful, but sounds like milldew. The leavea will drop and next year the leaves will be clean. It is autumn, so leaves don't last much longer, or you could spray with a fungicide but it is a bit late as the leaves won't be on much longer.

Not before leaves are open. Some Oaks are more likely to suffer from mildew than others, but it is not that much of a problem just does not look good.

Do you keep the tree indoors?

Just spray a mixture of milk/water 1:1 on the leaves a few times per growing season, no need for fungicides.
And if the tree is inside: outside with it for the rest of its life

Could you explain this milk/water thing ? I've never heard of it before?

Hi, Oh thank you for getting back to me on this, so a mixture of milk and water a few times each season will cure the problem. ?Should I do it now towards the end of the season or wait for the leaves to drop off and start next spring. ?The tree is outside all year but will be going into my greenhouse for the winter.?
Much appreciate your help on this as my tree looks ugly at the moment.
Thank you
